I created a mock-up pitch presentation which stated what we needed to include on each slide. Then Rowena and I went through and began to add the necessary images and information. Rowena took the main roles of editing it together using my mocked up slides. As a group we asked one another what should go where and what looks best.
Once the visuals were all finalised I went away and finished my slides. In regard to the networks slide these were networks we would aim our animation at. We also followed Mashed on our group twitter account and they followed us back. So this gives us a chance to hopefully get our animation on their site as they are part of channel 4. The network choices were all based around the target audience research, as we looked into Family Guy (Fox) and Southpart (Comedy Central) etc. So this is why they were our choices.
I also created 2 new production schedules that will take us through till the end of the academic year and final deadline in May. These schedules will be added to my handin folder as I couldn't fit the full HD version into the blogs. I think this demonstrates I have thought ahead on the whole project and have given plenty of time to animate. I am happy where this project is heading and if we keep top this schedule we should definitely be on track throughout semester 2. I also thought it would be important to show industry our preproduction pipeline as it shows we know about pipelines but also explains the way in which we worked. As at times there were multiple things going on at once.
I also starting forming a budget for our animation. If we were to paid and have an actual team of people working alongside us. This is just the beginning of the budget I still need to add more information to it but it shocked me how much money people can spend on animations. We are not sure of the materials we will use in the next phase of production so I will finalise this budget in semester 2.
