Deadlines are approaching quickly! I am happy with the progress of the group so far. As a group we went through the whole script again, James, Rowena and Leah drew out some roughs as I read through, this helped us plan out each scene and what type of camera movement or shot they would be for the finish version. This was really useful as it first made us all aware of any changes that had been made on the script as well as giving us a indepth understadning of it. From this we were all on the same page as far as thrumbnailing was concerned. I scanned in this version of the script making sure the roughs had been adding into the drive as well.

We then spent the next two days as a team, thumbnailing the storyboard onto postit notes. Each member was given a scene or a few short key scenes to focus on. This went well, I believe Harry struggled as he did not go through the script with the rest of the team the day before, but this was overcome through asking questions and taking a closer look at his scene in the reedited script.
I worked on the start of the story, scenes 1 through to 7 as these were mostly establishing and short scenes as I am not the most confident in storyboarding. Whereas the rest of the team are a lot more creative in their drawings and can create more expressive work.

Once these were completed. I began putting them all into premiere, in order. we have a drafted storyboard and rough sound to go with it. I edited everyone's thumbnails into premiere quickly to give a estimate on time and really get a feel for the overall story. I know the timings are slightly off and comedic value hasn't been totally thought about but this was just another level of storyboard drafting. We got this storyboard done a lot quicker than I thought we would so this is good news.
I decided it would be best to have a meeting one this storyboard was created so we could go through and critique on and others thumbnailing. For the most part it was just to add in more frames, which would help make the story clearer. We also had to reiterate that the shots have been written out on the script, so just make sure everyone follows that tightly, so our shots aren't all over the place.
We are now just focusing of the cleanup of the storyboard, so we will have a rough animatic to show to industry from the 10th of December. I updated the 4 week schedule this week, only few slight changes but this way I have time to focus on making a presentation for the pitch. As well as time to go through it as a group and be prepared for any questions they may ask us. I want to make sure we all know the project inside and out. This will make us a lot more stronger as a team.

Rowena and I will work together on the look of the presentation. As she has the best eye for this, which is why shes our production and pitchbible creator! I'll add all the information I think is relevant, without making the presentation overbearing.
I've also updated the year schedule. I will create a production schedule for next semester, this will include daily schedule. I think this will be really helpful as this will be a very critical stage for the project.
